All About the Cake
The best part of Justice's birthday party had to have been the cake. I got a 5" round cake just for Justice to enjoy and destroy. As our birthday party was themed Auburn, the cake was decked out in orange and blue and adorned with a 1 year candle. It was too cute! So, at the end of the night we sat Justice down on a washable blanket with just a diaper on and put the cake down in front of him. At first he was so dainty, just using his pincer fingers to taste the icing, but at time progressed and the photos show, he had his feet in the cake and all over his mouth and body. He had so much fun! He was surrounded by his family who acted coo-coo as he tried his cake out. He surely thought we were all nuts--but we were just nuts about him. So, here are a couple of pictures from this fun night for you to enjoy!

So cute and I love the baby fat rolls!! They lose those so fast once they start running around everywhere ;). Great photos and cute cake!
Very cute! Megan was much too "dainty" with her cake. I think that she just wanted to be careful that she ate hers up. It looks like he had a great time!
how sweet!! i love the 1st picture :) he's such a cutie!
sorry i missed friday. just too much to do. little bit is sick now. don't know what's going on but she's been running a fever around 101 for 2 days. yuck! we went to the ped. clinic today and they said it was probably a virus. we're going with that i guess. no congestion, no cough, no major loss of appetite (just a little), no ear infection, no red throat, no nothing! mystery bug...talk to ya soon!
That is truly the best part of the first birthday party. Care Bear went crazy with her cake - what fun pictures and memories.
What an adorable baby!
That is a fabulous idea! And he is adorable!!!!!
Oh, those cake pics are so cute!
My boys actually started coloring at about 1. They were still in their highchairs at that point. And it was only for short periods at a time. Yes, I am an Accountant and I really enjoy it. I work for a small company and do most of it myself. I don't think I would enjoy to be a public accountant or work for a bigger company where I only did one aspect of accounting.
Care Bear was the same way with her first birthday cake. At first she just sat and looked at it, kind of confused, and then when she realized that she was SUPPOSED to destroy and eat it, she went nuts. I'll have to see if I can post that pic sometime. They are so cute when they start going at their cakes. It's like a dream come true for them!
